IELTS Mock Test in Jaipur: Full Computer-Style Practice at Home

Sit a full, timed IELTS mock test at home in Jaipur on screens that work like the computer-delivered exam. Start with a complete free sample test, with no card needed.

  • 15 full mock tests
  • 88 Listening and 52 Reading practice sets
  • AI band feedback on Writing and Speaking
  • 1-to-1 teacher sessions from ₹299

A single practice passage tells you whether you understand a question type. A full mock tells you whether you can keep that up for nearly three hours, with a clock running and your attention fading. That is a different skill, and it is the one the real test measures. Taking an IELTS mock test in Jaipur no longer means travelling anywhere: you can sit one at your own desk.

Why full mock tests matter

Most students who score below their target are not short of knowledge. They run out of time on Reading Passage 3, lose focus in Listening Part 4, or rush Writing Task 2 because Task 1 took too long. Full mocks expose these problems before test day:

  • Stamina. Listening, Reading and Writing run back to back in the real test. Your concentration in the last 20 minutes of Writing is part of your score.
  • Timing. You learn how long each Reading passage really takes you, not how long you think it takes.
  • Screen habits. If you will sit the computer-delivered test, you need to be comfortable typing essays, scrolling passages and using the highlighter.
  • Nerves. The fifth timed test feels far calmer than the first.

How our mock tests work

IELTS Learning has 15 complete mock tests covering Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, for both Academic and General Training. The screens are built to work like the computer-delivered IELTS:

  • a visible timer for each section
  • a question navigator so you can jump between questions
  • flag for review on questions you want to revisit
  • highlighter and notes on Reading passages
  • drag-and-drop for Matching Headings and word-box summaries

Listening and Reading are marked instantly with a band score. Writing responses get an AI-estimated band for each of the four criteria with feedback, and Speaking responses get AI feedback on the transcript. A complete free sample mock, with all four sections, is open to everyone on the practice tests page, no card required.

Setting up exam conditions at home in Jaipur

A mock is only useful if you treat it like the real thing. Some practical steps for a Jaipur home:

  1. Pick a quiet slot. Early morning often works best, before road noise, construction work and household activity pick up. In the summer months, the cooler hours also help you think.
  2. Plan for power and internet. Charge your laptop fully and keep a phone hotspot ready in case the Wi-Fi drops. A cut in the middle of Listening is frustrating, and you cannot pause the real test.
  3. Use over-ear headphones, since computer-delivered test rooms provide headphones too.
  4. Tell your family you need three uninterrupted hours. Put a note on the door if that helps.
  5. No dictionary, no phone, no breaks between Listening, Reading and Writing.
  6. Do Speaking separately, ideally the same day or the next, as the real Speaking test may be scheduled apart from the other three modules.

If you live in a busy joint family or a shared PG close to your college, a seat in a college library or a quiet room at a relative's flat can work. What matters is three hours without interruption.

Using your results

Finishing the mock is half the job. The other half is the review, and it should take nearly as long as the test.

  • Sort every wrong answer by cause. Was it vocabulary, a misread question, a spelling slip, or running out of time? The Mistake Notebook saves wrong answers automatically so you can return to them.
  • Look at where the time went. If Passage 3 was rushed, practise starting it with 22 minutes left rather than 15.
  • Read the Writing feedback criterion by criterion. A low Coherence and Cohesion estimate needs a different fix from a low Lexical Resource one.
  • Check your overall band with the Band Score Calculator and compare it with your target.

Do not retake the same mock straight away. You will remember the answers and learn very little.

How many mocks, and when

There is no magic number, but this pattern works for many students:

  • One at the start to find your level.
  • One every week or two during the main preparation period, with practice sets on your weak areas in between.
  • Two or three in the final fortnight, spaced out, to settle your timing.

Taking a mock every day is usually a mistake: you test far more than you learn. If your scores stop improving across three mocks, change what you do between them rather than simply taking more.

Questions from students in Jaipur

Is the free IELTS mock test really a complete test?

Yes. The free sample mock includes all four sections: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. You do not need a card to take it, and it is a good way to find your starting band before you decide anything.

Is this the same as the real computer-based IELTS?

Our screens work like the computer-delivered IELTS, with a timer, question navigator, flag for review, highlighter and drag-and-drop answers, and our tests follow the official format. They are independent practice tests, not official IELTS materials, but they get you used to the way the real screens behave.

Can I take a full mock on my phone?

The platform works on phone and laptop. For full mocks, a laptop is better, especially if you will sit the computer-delivered test, because you need to practise typing your Writing answers and reading long passages on a larger screen.

How accurate are the mock test band scores?

Listening and Reading bands come from your number of correct answers, so they are a reliable guide if you sit the test under strict conditions. Writing and Speaking bands are AI estimates, useful for tracking progress but not a promise of your real result.

How long does a full mock take?

Listening takes about 30 minutes, Reading 60 minutes and Writing 60 minutes, so plan close to three hours with set-up. Speaking takes 11 to 14 minutes and can be done separately, just as in the real test.
